THE UNIQUE MISSION OF THE BRITISH FRIENDS OF BAR-ILAN UNIVERSITY

The great task for a university is the enhancement of scientific knowledge and the preparation of the next generation of leadership.

The British Friends of Bar-Ilan University, working in cooperation with the Global Development Office of the University in Ramat Gan, Israel, seeks to secure financial support from donors in order to further the academic programs, scolarships, research activities, and future growth of the University, including building and maintaining lecture rooms, libraries, laboratories and other facilities.

British Friends of Bar-Ilan University links the University to the British public. It hosts a variety of lectures, sponsors seminars and conferences, and distributes educational material which promotes the work of the University.

Gifts to British Friends of Bar-Ilan University qualify for Giftaid, giving us the opportunity to claim tax on the donor's behalf, thus increasing the donation by 28%.
