Making a contribution to Bar-Ilan University has never been more beneficial both for you, and for the University, which later enjoys your generosity.

Over your lifetime, your hard work has allowed you to accumulate assets. Now you have reached a point in your life when you want your assets to work for you. Through gift planning, you can increase your income and claim tax relief on your gift, while creating a legacy in Israel.

If you are over age 60, a Charitable Gift Annuity Living Legacy (Charitable Remainder Trust) offers you a guaranteed fixed income for life with a substantially higher interest rate than other secure investments such as certificates of deposit or bonds. The interest rate available varies according to your age. With the tax relief you can claim from income and capital gains tax, the benefit to you is even greater.

You may decide to fund your gift in many ways, including cash, publicly traded securities, appreciated property, real estate or insurance policies. You can gift property located in Britain, Israel and elsewhere.

A Gift of Life Insurance can provide you with income tax savings. A paid up policy, which is no longer necessary for you, can make a wonderful gift at no real cost to you. Or you can leverage an insurance policy to create a substantial gift for Bar-Ilan's future with tax back for you today.
