Bar-Ilan researchers are collaborating with a brewery to recreate high-quality beer using yeast extracted from pottery dating back thousands of years. Leading this endeavour is Head of Bar-Ilan’s Institute of Archaeology, Prof. Aren Maeir, along with researchers from the Hebrew University, Tel Aviv University, and the Israel Antiquities Authority.
