Last month a Bar-Ilan Award was presented to Yonatan Merkier at JFS’s Annual Graduation Ceremony. Yonatan received the award for his outstanding ‘A’ Level results (3 A*s and an A for Physics, Maths, Further Maths and Chemistry, respectively).

After achieving such outstanding results, Yonatan has gone on to study engineering at Cambridge, and is aspiring to make a positive impact in sectors relating to energy, electrical and electronic engineering. He has joined the University’s Eco racing and Riviera racing societies, where he is learning much about project management.

In the future, Yonatan hopes to work and contribute as an engineer to the development of beneficial projects in Israel.
