Bearing Witness: Reflections on Prof. Halperin-Kaddari’s UK Visit

News

“We must not let these stories be buried. The world cannot stay silent”

Last week Prof. Ruth Halperin-Kaddari spoke in Manchester and London about the sexual violence committed on October 7th and her work to gain justice for the victims.

From a business breakfast in Manchester to the screening of Screams Before Silence at JW3, the events were held in partnership with Jewish Women’s Aid, UJIA, and the British-Israel Chamber of Commerce.

Over 250 guests heard Prof. Halperin-Kaddari speak. She answered questions about denialism from the UN, the silence of feminist voices, and the challenges authorities face in bringing the Hamas perpetrators to justice.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for these vital events.

We are now raising funds to support Prof. Halperin-Kaddari’s work on the Dinah Project – the group she co-founded to gain justice and recognition for the victims.

Any support you can give will help the Professor continue fighting for justice, ensuring the stories of October 7th are not buried and the world no longer remains silent.
