King David High School student Talya Myers has been award the Bar-Ilan Award for outstanding contribution to Jewish life and the community.
Some of Talya’s contributions include work with Cteen, Aish, Whitefield Jewish Youth Centre, Girls football and the school’s Jewish girls learning club.
Talya is leaving to go to Baer Miriam Seminary in Jerusalem for religious and personal growth. Following this she aims to study human physiology in university, and is already looking at Bar-Ilan.
