Many of the hostages taken on 7th October have been released in the past week, and Bar-Ilan faculty members are leading the teams that are accompanying them as they come home.
As the first faces the released hostages see, Dr. Yael Shoval Zuckerman and Darya Shalev from The Weisfeld Family School of Social Work use their expertise in the treatment of PTSD to create a smoother return.
At Schneider Children’s Hospital, Dr. Sigal Adin and Dr. Tamar Silberg (from the Department of Psychology) receive the children who were released and oversee their continued treatment.
